Subject: Real Estate Project of Lake Promenade Co-tenancy

Dear City Councillor Amber Morley and City Planner Eno Rebecca Udoh-Orok.

As you know, a Working Group has been established to review specific elements of the Lake Promenade Co-Tenancy Application related to site organization, built form, trees, parks and open spaces, and pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and gather input from a group of representatives of area stakeholders.

Three meetings were scheduled. On the third one, which took place on November 15th, the Applicant was expected to present a revised proposal but the most important community concerns of buildings height, density and duration of construction were not addressed. Jack Greenberg said it was better to avoid giving exact heights to avoid setting false expectations.

Hence, we are starting 2024 without having answers to our most important concerns. But, one thing is certain: promoters and City Council Members should know by now that, in our Long Branch residential area, the community will oppose any plan to construct buildings of more than seven levels.
