Patti Pokorchak, MBA, is an award-winning marketing and sales executive, with decades of experience at IBM, Siemens, and many start-up companies in Canada and Europe. Self-employed since 1992, she helped start and run a successful software company before opening a thriving garden centre and hobby farm.
Patti is the author of The Accidental Farmer: Adventures of a Serial Entrepreneur and if she can be a farmer, you can be anything you want to be, as long as you know how to sell and market that is!
Since 2019, she has been an Adjunct Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Ted Rogers School of Management teaching Entrepreneurial Sales, Professional Sales for MBA students and a variety of business courses for non-business majors. Patti consults, coaches and mentors a variety of entrepreneurs.
She is the spokesperson and main organizer of the Lake Promenade Tenants’ Association.
On September 29, 2024, she was quoted in the article Long Branch residents fight against massive condo development in their quiet area published by The South Etobicoke News.
In 2023 and 2024, she has been the representative of the tenants of building 230 Lake Promenade on the Working Group.
