Juliénas

Juliénas wines are an intense and deep ruby-red, with heady aromas of peaches, red fruits and flowers. Produced on mainly clay soils, these lively wines can be drunk while young or will improve further with a few years of bottle age. Juliénas tends to be a favourite benchmark wine with journalists, who frequently sing its praises.
Serve at 13°C, with coq au vin, game birds or poultry in sauce.
