Fund to advance the equality of status or use of English and French

Paragraph 16 (3) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms confirms the authority of Parliament and legislatures of Canada to advance the equality of status or use of English and French.

The new fund of the Franco-Ontarian Foundation provides citizens, organisations and businesses with opportunities to participate to the advancement of the equality of status or use of English and French.
