Ottawa, officially bilingual federal capital: form for supporters (businesses)

On February 14, 1970, the Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism recommended, for the federal capital, that the French and English languages have full equality of status, and that the full range of services and facilities provided to the public be available in both official languages throughout the area. For more information, you can access the
English version of volume 5 of that Report of the B & B Commission and the
French version.
As we near the 150th Anniversary of Confederation, it is time to implement the B & B Commission’s recommendation by supporting publically the following official request:
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
We ask that Ottawa: the Capital of Canada be designated “Officially bilingual”, totally, legally, judicially and constitutionally.
