Association Canado-Américaine was founded in 1896 in Manchester (New Hampshire) by immigrants from Québec. In organizing ACA, its founders wanted a society that would express their pride in their French Catholic Heritage and build solidarity among their fellow immigrants in order to improve their standard of living and their lives.
