On April 3, 2017, Mona Fortier has been elected MP for Ottawa-Vanier.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) and MBA from the University of Ottawa, Mona has served on the Shaw Centre Board of Directors, the Provincial Advisory Committee on Francophone Affairs, and the Montfort Hospital Board of Directors. She was also awarded the Queen Elizabeth II – Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012.

Mona Fortier has been Executive Vice-President of Equinox.
