Louis Grenier holds a Master's degree in the management and development of cooperatives from the University of Sherbrooke and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Calgary. He has also received training in management, in administration, in project management, as a mediator, as coach and as business adviser.

He has worked for small, medium and large companies; in private, public and social enterprises; in for-profit as well as non-profit organizations. He has been involved in the non-profit sector for more than 30 years.
