Cooke, Max

Max Cooke is a fluently bilingual French Immersion graduate with a highly personal point of view of the tremendous benefits associated with becoming
bilingual. Using his degree in journalism from Ryerson University, Mr. Cooke has gained extensive experience in strategic communications and project management in the not-for-profit sector.

From 2004 to 2007, he served as the first Executive Director of the Quebec Branch of Canadian Parents for French. Since 2007, Mr. Cooke has lived in Toronto and been working as Director of Communications for the Canadian Education Association. He continues to devote considerable volunteer energy to promoting the growth of FSL learning opportunities as Vice-President of French for the Future and as a board member of CPF Ontario.
