Mélanie Cassista

Mélanie Cassista practices insurance law. She obtained her law degree in 1999 from the University of New Brunswick. She was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 2000 and the Alberta Bar in 2001. Prior to receiving her LL.B., she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Université Laval. Mélanie Cassista is an experienced litigator who focuses on insurance law defence. She has experience in various areas of litigation, including providing legal opinions, conducting, litigating and achieving settlement through alternative dispute resolution, such as judicial dispute resolution and mediation. She has appeared before the Alberta Provincial Court and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.
