Premier,
Gérard Levesque, in the attached cartoon, in his own inimitable, light hearted manner, is expressing on behalf of French speaking Canadians the deeply felt insult by Alberta authorities treating French as "foreign language". French is a Canadian language constitutionally recognized as equal to English in power's exercise.
Your recent election as leader of the Alberta Conservatives, your success at the polls and the recognition your excellent leadership is receiving both in your Province and nationally should now move you to right a wrong that could not have been motivated by other than pettiness.
