Bishop Cecil Cooper - Sammy Madray

Born on September 18, 1926, Bishop Cecil Cooper-Sammy Madray went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2011. He has been predeceased by his wife Etwaria Madray.

He is survived by his brother Basil Madray; his children Caroline (Harry) Singh; Bertram (Evangeline) Rampersaud; Christine (Lawrence) Seenandan; Victor Rampersaud; Hilda (John) Baddeir; Alfred (Linda) Rampersaud; Esme Charles as well as his 25 grandchildren and 41 great and great-great grandchildren.

Bishop Madray touched many lives through his ministry which took him to countless countries around the world. He is greatly missed but will never be forgotten.

A Funeral Service has been held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on August 3, 2011. Arrangements entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1605 - 100 Street SE (17 Ave. SE at Garden Rd.), Calgary AB, T1X 0L4.
