Farley, Roger

MBA Graduate from the University of Ottawa, Mr. Farley has more than thirty years of professional experience mainly in the Government of Canada.
He has held various management positions within the government. He was at the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, to the Official Languages Support programs, to the Canada's policy on copyright and to the Canadian Sport Policy before joining Health Canada in 2002.
He has conducted extensive consultations on the future of amateur sport in Canada and led the first comprehensive modernization of the Sport Act who had more than 40 years.
Since 2005, he is Executive Director of the Official Language Community Development Bureau of Health Canada.
Mr. Farley has always been very involved as a volunteer in his community. He is past Chair of the Maison de la Francophonie of Ottawa and member of the fund raising committee.
