Michel Giroux is a professor at, and chair of, the Department of Law and Justice at Laurentian University. In the context of language rights, his publications deal with the contribution of theory to the teaching of common law in the French language, the legitimacy of French as a common-law language, the designation of universities under Ontario’s French Language Services Act and the constitutional right to a university education in French in Ontario.
