Régnié
[Français]
The youngest of the Crus, Régnié was designated as the 10th Cru in 1988. The vineyards surrounding the church and village of Régnié-Durette, produce supple, well-structured wines, which are cherry-red with violet tints and aromas of redcurrants, blackberries and raspberries. It is said that one mouthful of Régnié can tell you more about the region than all the guide books put together.
Serve at 12°C, with terrines, white meats and warm hors d’oeuvres.
