I have decided to run for the Provincial election to give a voice to the numerous persons who are often told that you have to be deeply rooted in a riding in order to be able to enter the political arena.
I am convinced that a more inclusive, more open, and fairer society benefits everyone. That is why I support the NDP platform, which is about making the working and middle-class life more affordable and easier, through smarter education policies, daycare and healthcare, while respecting the tax-payers' money.

When you give $200, you get back $150 on your income tax return. So it really only costs you $50. The Provincial Tax Credits are not a deduction against your income but a real credit against your tax payable. The credit is applied against the final tax payable line on your tax form. Should your provincial tax credit exceed your provincial tax payable, the difference is payable to you.
