Moulin-à-Vent
[Français]
Known as the “King of Beaujolais”, this famous Cru takes its name from the ancient windmill on a hill at Romanèche-Thorins. The special character of these wines is partly due to the granite sub-soil, which is very rich in manganese. With their deep, ruby colour and aromas of roses, iris, spice and ripe fruits, these are well-structured wines, which age well and are renowned for being some of the finest wines in France.
Once aged, serve at 14°C, with red meat, game and strong cheeses.
