Saint-Amour
[Français]
The name Saint-Amour lends itself to being known the world over as the most romantic of all the Crus. The wines are produced in the far northern Beaujolais vineyards, almost entirely in the Saône-et-Loire region. They are flavourful, refined and well-balanced wines, ruby-red in colour, with typical Gamay grape flavours and aromas of kirsch cherries and the medicinal, herb, Reseda.
Serve at 13°C, with poultry, sweet-meats and game.
