Born in Edmonton, Christian Villeneuve was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2005, after having completed his law degree at the University of Ottawa. He then worked with a national law firm (Davis) where he specialized in the areas of commercial litigation, builders’ liens and torts litigation. This allowed him to gain some great trial and mediation experience.
He then worked for 2 years with Justice Canada in the areas of aboriginal and constitutional litigation, where he appeared before the Federal Court on some judicial reviews, and worked on a significant piece of litigation dealing with modern land claims agreements. He is now working with the firm of River City Law Group, where he continue to specialize in litigation, with an emphasis on the areas of builders’ liens, collections, employment law and family law. He also do quite a bit of residential real estate work.
