Manon Perreault is a long-time resident of the municipality of St-Jacques de Montcalm, where she currently lives with her husband, Jean-Pierre.

She began her career as an administrator, working for Montreal-based financial institutions. Later, she was a trainer with Kéroul, an organization promoting tourism for people with disabilities.

Deeply interested in local and regional issues, she presented herself for elections to the Municipal Council in Sainte-Marie-Salomé and sat on council from 2002 to 2009. As a person with restricted mobility herself, she periodically contributes to the Association Handami, a regional organization for people with disabilities.
