Mrs. Jocelyne Samson has more than twenty years’ experience in mediation and negotiation, in both public and private sectors. As the Manager Investigations, she receives complaints filed by citizens and conducts investigations under the provisions of the French Language Services Act. She also advises the Commissioner, Mr. François Boileau, on the application of the Act by provincial ministries and acts on his behalf in his absence.
A seasoned meditation and conflict management professional, Mrs. Samson negotiates and proposes framework agreements and solutions in order to
resolve issues between parties to a complaint. She has a degree in Sociology and Psychology and a certificate in Public Administration. She also holds a
Master of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.
